As part of Immix Ensemble’s 2018 season, I was invited to collaborate with musician Kelly Lee Owens to create a new live audiovisual piece. In addition to my video work, I designed the staging and lighting to ensure a cohesive visual aesthetic to the whole performance.

For the video element, I filmed on various locations in the vast prairie landscapes of Saskatchewan and Alberta, Canada. From this footage, I created dual screen visuals that I played out live using Resolume and Adobe After Effects software. The combination of the lighting and video created an expansive visual environment to compliment Kelly and Immix’s beautiful arrangements.
